This book is just another reason to love and keep reading everything this author writes! This is a standalone series, but there is sort of a prequel to this called Dreamcatcher's Dance, and starting with this book, the series will continue to follow this couple. Now you don't have to read the prequel at all. It doesn't follow the main characters, but if you want to read that full length novel to see how the Dreamcatcher Dance Academy got its start, then plie over to your favorite book store and grab yourself a copy! Trust me, you will never regret reading anything Deanna Roy writes! This book starts with a nineteen year old, hardworking ballet dancer of only two years, Livia Mason, meeting a twenty-six year old, Benjamin "Blitz Craven" Castillo, the host of a reality TV show Dance Blitz. I thought the show was a great spin (it's a combo of things out there, which made me laugh) and wouldn't be surprised if someone in Hollywood, reads this book, and creates the show...I'm not joking! When the director of the dance studio, who knows Livia's potential and Benjamin's, but knows of his bad boy streak, warns Benjamin to stay away, Livia is confused. Livia has no clue who he is or what the show is about as he only introduced himself using his real first name, acted as a complete gentleman, and she has lived a very sheltered, scheduled, and controlled life, with no technology for over the past 4 years, due to something that caused her father to move her and her family. First book in a new series , I could not put it down! I am going to be re-reading this one ! Livia Mason is nineteen after a mistake she made earlier in her life she has been kept in seclusion until now when she is allowed to attend Dream Catcher's Dance Academy. She meets Benjamin Castillo aka Blitz Craven an all round bad boy at the school and they have a connection. But will her secret chase him away?

From the very first page, this forbidden, heartwarming, intriguing, and captivating love story drew me and had me turning the pages to see how the story unfolded. Forbidden Dance is a beautiful and emotional story of sadness, secrets, intense attraction, humor, and how true love can survive obstacles and make you stronger.

WOW! I could not and did not want to put this book down and before I knew it, it was over much to my regret!
This book has it all, dance (if you love ballet and the waltz you will love this book), love, sexy times and a secret that could destroy everything. If you love a ballet dancer who is strong, sensitive, and beautiful and a sexy, successful (kind of), reality TV show star getting their dance on then you will adore this story.
The story weaves Livia's story (big secret and way over protective, almost cruel parents) and Blitz's (real name Benjamin) together so effortlessly and beautifully that I really wish that Dreamcatcher Dance Academy really existed and Livia and Blitz were living, breathing people because I would love to watch them dance together!!
Run, don't walk to own this book, you will not be disappointed!

This is truly an amazing heartfelt story that won't let you go. Deanna Roy writes with so much passion you can't help yourself from becoming part of the story. I love reading any book by Deanna Roy because they touch on so many aspects of true life lessons and bring out the strength in the characters they need to survive and better themselves. In Forbidden Dance we meet nineteen year old Livia Mason who has paid the price of her past misjudgment but continues to live under her father's unbending rules. Her escape is her ballerina class at Dreamcatcher Academy and helping with a special class of wheelchair ballerinas. When Benjamin "Blitz Craven" arrives at the academy Livia had no idea who he is but is captivated by him. Blitz is at the academy to try to counter bad publicity from a scandalous tweet that got him kicked off his reality dance show. Blitz is jaded by his LA lifestyle and the women there, so when he meets Livia it's like nothing he's ever felt before. As Livia and Blitz come to know each other emotions of the past come alive for Livia and she finds doubt in the reality of what's happening. Follow Livia and Blitz through this emotional journey of discovery of what's real and what's a role played for the public. When real and role blurs the lines will Livia give up or will she see the real Benjamin she's falling for or will Blitz destroy all she knows. I fell in love with Blitz and Livia after the first page and have already ordered the rest of this series. If a book had Deanna Roy's name on it then it definitely is in my library. Don't hesitate to one click, you don't want to miss the opportunity.

I did receive this as a free book but I also had pre ordered it, which it was so worth it. I am so happy there are more books in this series, yeah. I really enjoyed this story, of good girl meets bad boy, with some very enjoyable twists. Not your "old school" story. A must read book series.
